Satish Kumar, Founder, Chairman & CEO

Satish Kumar is the Founder, Chairman & CEO of GLOPORE IMS. Satish brings a successful 18 years of professional experience that spans North America, Europe and the Indian sub-continent. He is responsible for the company's vision, overall business strategy execution, business units performance, leadership & partnership development and key customer, partner, investors relationship management.
Prior to setting up GLOPORE IMS, Satish was with Novell Inc., (NASDAQ: NOVL) at its corporate headquarters in Waltham, MA USA. His dedication and commitment won him the Novell ONE Award. Satish started his career in Bangalore, INDIA where he worked with various reputed MNCs. Some of his significant achievements include his involvement in the development of OS/2 Toolkit for IBM; building Lotus Notes Gateways to customers in Germany and managing on-shore and off-shore project teams for Compaq as part of BFL Software. In 1997, Satish was hired by Cambridge Technology Partners (NASDAQ: CATP) a global IT Consulting firm with over US$650M in revenue and 5500+ employees. Satish has a strong technology background and several certifications including ITIL®, Siebel, Novell and Microsoft. In August 2006, itSMF certifies (Certificate No: 519) Satish as ISO/IEC 20000 Auditor.
Satish holds an Global MBA in Entrepreneurship from Babson College, USA and Master of Science in Computer Science from Kennedy-Western University, USA, Master's Diploma in Computerized Software Applications from Datapro Information Technology, India, Bachelors of Science from Kuvempu University, India and has done several courses including Entrepreneurial Strategies for Innovation and Growth - Corporate Entrepreneurship from Babson Executive Education, USA. Satish is member of TIE - The IndUS Entrepreneurs. Dr. U. Srinivasa Rangan, Co-Founder , Director and VP - Global Strategy & Alliances

Dr. Rangan is Co-Founder, Director and VP - Global Strategy & Alliances at GLOPORE IMS. Dr. Rangan Co-Founded GLOPORE IMS and is responsible for overall strategy of the company and forging alliances. He also holds the Lukšić Chair Professorship in Strategy and Global Studies at Babson College in the United States. Dr. Rangan brings over 30 years of Industry, Academic, Teaching, Research and Management experience in the areas of Competitive Strategy, Economic Development, Globalization and Strategic Alliances. His current research deals with the globalization of Indian, Chinese, and Brazilian companies, their use of acquisitions and alliances, evolution of industries and firm-level strategies, and the impact of national business systems on them.
After serving as a manager in industrial and international finance with the State Bank of India in India and England, Dr. Rangan held research and faculty positions at IMD, Harvard Business School (HBS), and Tulane University. Dr. Rangan's research, teaching, and consulting focus on competitive strategy, strategic alliances, globalization, and national competitiveness. Winner of several teaching awards, he has designed and taught several executive programs at many prestigious international schools of management, working with senior managers from several industries in North America, Europe, and Asia. He also worked with Professor Michael Porter of HBS to advise the Indian government on the economic development policies to pursue to ensure national competitiveness following the government's decision in the 1990s to liberalize the economy.
Dr. Rangan is the co-author of two books (Strategic Alliances: An Entrepreneurial Approach to Globalization, HBS Press, 1995 and Capital Rising, Palgrave Macmillan, 2010). In 1996, his first book was named one of the top 30 business books of the year in both the United States and Europe and was translated into several languages. His second book deals with how entrepreneurial ecosystems of countries and global capital flows interact to change the global competitive landscape. Author of several best-selling case studies on global strategic management, published by HBS, IMD and Babson, he is currently co-editing a book on Globalization and Asia with professors from INSEAD and the International University of Japan. Dr. Rangan holds M.Sc. in Physics from University of Madurai, India, M.Sc., in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, M.B.A. from IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland and a doctorate from Harvard University.
Ashwini SKumar, Co-Founder , Director & Chief Operating Officer

Ashwini SKumar is the Co-Founder, Director & Chief Operating Officer at GLOPORE IMS. She brings over 13 years of IT Industry experience. Ashwini leads managed IT services delivery and business partner functions to support service delivery. She is also an ITIL® Expert and is involved in delivering ITIL® trainings to customers. Prior to actively getting involved with GLOPORE IMS, Ashwini was associated with ORACLE India as Project Lead for product development and support for 3 years in Bangalore and at Technology Center of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc., in Boston area for 7 years responsible for delivering interfacing products between their various property management and reservation systems. She returned back to India for good in 2005 to pursue her dream to be an enabler for better employment opportunities for youth in tier 2 , tier 3 cities in India.
Ashwini holds Executive MBA (EGMP) from IIM, Bangalore and M.S. in Computer Science from Warren National University formerly known as Kennedy-Western University from California and B.E. in Computer Science from The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore. Recently, Ashwini has won the runner-up award as the “Leading Woman Entrepreneur in SME” conducted by IIGBI in the 3rd edition of Women leaders of India on Dec 9th, 2011.
R P Singh, Director - Strategic Accounts & International Business

RP Singh (or RP, as he is popularly called) is the Director of Strategic Accounts & International Business and Board Member at GLOPORE IMS. RP has over two decades of experience in Sales & Marketing roles at the senior management level with the last 12 years in pan European Operations. His diversified experience includes IT Consulting & Services, BPO Operations, Customer Support, Strategic Partnerships and Alliances. RP has a track record in growing businesses rapidly in the IT Services space by leading sales teams to achieve aggressive revenue goals. He also has experience in leading cross-functional teams across sales and delivery which has helped him manage large consulting engagements with P&L responsibility.
Starting his IT foray in India in 1977 with DCM Data Products, RP moved to HCL in its infancy stages, where he worked for over 20 years. From a $5M organization, RP grew with the organization to what is a multibillion dollar global enterprise today. Entrepreneurial spirit, the basic ethos of HCL, is what got imbibed in him as a way of life. In the early days of HCL, RP was involved in big wins like Life Insurance Corporation, Intelligence Bureau and the Indian Railways. When support took a beating, he stepped in to lead large support teams with dramatic improvements in customer satisfaction levels. This talks about his versatility as a leader. He managed, from inception to disinvestment a joint venture with Hewlett Packard where in a period of 5 years revenues grew from $25 M to $200M. In the process, he also developed strategic alliances with many product and service companies worldwide for inorganic business growth.
The era of software services saw RP head International Marketing of HCL Technologies from India. He then moved to UK to manage pan European consulting teams. He successfully managed sales teams with big 5 background to sell blended offshore services to some of the large systems integrators in Europe.
In 2002, RP headed to European Operations of Blue Star Infotech as its Chief Operating Officer before setting up his own consulting practice in 2005. In his consulting practice, he has been involved with a property BPO company to corporatize its offerings, a law firm in creating legal BPOs in India, a large technology oriented US centric IT services company in developing its 'go to market' plan for Europe and a host of other assignments.
RP is an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad and an Electronic Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering.
Srinivas Rao Mahankali, Independent Director

Srinivas Rao is Independent Director at GLOPORE IMS, who is actively mentoring GLOPORE IMS management team in several areas including customer/ talent acquisition and building scalable IMS\RIM service delivery capabilities to consistently deliver IT Service Management Excellence.
Srinivas Rao is the Founder and CEO of Aujas Networks, a pure-play digital security services company and also Director at 24X7Learning.Com. Rao co-founded Aujas Networks in February 2008 after over 23 years of experience in the technology industry. Prior to Aujas, Rao served as the Senior Vice President — Market Management at Cisco Systems and also served as the Chief Operating Officer at IBM Netsol.
Previously, he worked at Network Solutions as their Executive Director, where he was instrumental in scaling it from an early stage entity to a medium sized company, before it was acquired by IBM Global Services. He has also worked as a senior executive with Microland, a leading Indian IT service provider. Rao holds a B.E. from Osmania University and an MBA from IIM, Bangalore.
Jayamala Subramaniam, Independent Director
Jayamala Subramaniam is an Independent Director with GLOPORE IMS and actively advises on effective change management and appropriate strategy for new businesses. She comes with over two decades of experience in Strategy and Execution in Banking, Education, Agri-businesses, ITES and the Not for Profit sector, across countries. She has proven expertise in identifying and establishing transformational processes for scaling standalone start-ups and start up business lines in established organizations.
She is a certified Executive and Business Coach. She has a management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. She started her career with ITC Ltd in 1986 in Internal Audit and quickly moved to the Agri-businesses division as one of its earliest members. She was instrumental in setting up and scaling the financial and commodity trading processes of the Division and was duly recognized with one of the fastest promotions in ITC Ltd. She then moved to Qatar in 1993, where she was responsible for incubating and scaling the cards business in Commercial Bank, one of the largest private banks in the Gulf. The cards business grew to become the largest issuers and acquirers in Qatar, in a very short span of 3 years. Moving back to India, she joined Capital One in 2003 to set up their card lending business. While the card lending business was not launched due to reprioritization, she moved to set up and scale the BPO operations for Capital One US and UK, in India and Phillipines. She led theUS Telesales and UK Customer services outsourcing and supply chain analytics for Capital One's Asia Operations. She identified and successfully transferred many voice and some non-voice processes that delivered better service at lower costs for Capital One. She then moved to join TutorVista, an e-education business, in 2006 as one of its earliest members and was responsible for visualizing and scaling the end-end academic learning system. She successfully completed a large scale, ground up e-recruitment and e-training of tutors in India for the US and the UK market. She also designed and executed comprehensive e-learning systems. Since 2009, she has been an independent Strategy consultant and Executive and Business coach and has worked with many entrepreneurs and CXO's across industries. Her special skill and interest is in identifying and enabling the top few individual and business/process changes that have the potential to deliver the most impact for time and money investment. She is currently CEO of Arghyam, which is a foundation that is focussed on safe and sustainable water for all.
V Sundararajan, Chief Financial Officer
V Sundararajan is the Chief Financial Officer of GLOPORE IMS. As part of the GLOPORE IMS leadership team he closely works with Board of Directors responsible for providing the strategic foundation for Finance and Accounting function to support of the growth of the company. Sundar is a finance professional with over 25 years of experience in finance, business strategy and operations, business re-engineering, M&A and Investor Relations. He founded Numinous Consulting, a boutique consulting firm specializing in investment banking and CFO services.
Prior to this, Sundar was CFO of Aztecsoft, a public company recently acquired by MindTree. He was instrumental in turning around the business and profitability of Aztecsoft, repositioning their business strategy and growing it to a leading public company. He was also associated with BPL Limited for more than three years in senior finance positions. Before BPL, Sundar had a long association of more than 15 years with Wipro in several senior finance positions. He commenced his career with Ashok Leyland.
Sundar is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Sudha Kumar, Chief Marketing Officer
Sudha Kumar is the Chief Marketing Officer of GLOPORE IMS. As part of the GLOPORE IMS leadership team she closely works with the Board of Directors to accelerate the growth of the company. She is responsible for Strategic Marketing, Branding, and PR of the multiple company brands. Sudha is a marketing professional with over 24 years’ experience in high technology strategy and marketing and management consulting. She started her career as a management consultant with A F Ferguson & Co. After a four year stint at AFF, Sudha joined Infosys Technologies, Bangalore.
During her eight years at Infosys, Sudha has managed the Corporate Planning and Corporate Marketing functions. She has worked closely with top management on several strategic initiatives. In 2001, Sudha co-founded Prayag Consulting, a marketing consulting firm with focus on select industry verticals. Sudha speaks and writes regularly on growth strategies for hi-tech companies, the role of marketing in technology companies and trends in the global outsourcing industry. Sudha is a gold medalist in Electronics & Communication Engineering from Anna University. She also has a PGDM from IIM (Bangalore).
Gowri Shankar, AVP – Pre-Sales
Gowri Shankar is the Associate Vice President - Network Practice contributing to for Pre-Sales, ITS Solutioning & Delivery, and build Network Practice COE in GLOPORE IMS. Gowri brings a successful 16 years of professional experience that spans North America, Europe and India. He is responsible for the company's global network consulting and services.
Prior to GLOPORE IMS, Gowri has worked with Wipro Technologies (NASDAQ: WIT). In Wipro Technologies, Gowri held many responsible roles in Technology Infrastructure Services (TIS Division) such as Sr. Consultant, Network Consultant, IT Operations Manager, Program manager. His roles have covered areas including IP based Infrastructure designing, Implementation and Support, designing scalable and redundant data network solution based on customer requirement, comprehensive understanding of networking concepts for LAN, Security, IT communication, WAN protocols, MPLS VPN and designing solution and adept in analyzing information system needs, evaluating end-user requirements, custom designing solutions.
Gowri is an effective communicator with exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to relate to people at any level of business and management; he has implemented multiple CAMPUS networks covering Million+ LAN ports. Based out of London in UK, Gowri architected and built “Near Shore Centers”, Sales Offices and “Onsite Development Centers” across Europe. Gowri holds Diploma in Electronics and Communications and certifications and courses on various niche segments such as CCNA, CCNP and ITIL®.
Muktesh Murthy, VP – Service Delivery
Muktesh Murthy is the VP – Service Delivery at GLOPORE IMS. As part of the core management team, Muktesh is responsible for Service Delivery in the areas including ITSM Transformation Consulting & Training, Service Management Consulting, Quality Management System and Consumer Technical Support Services.
He has earlier worked in companies including iGATE Global, AXA, and Sigma Aldrich at different roles like Delivery Management, Program and Project Management, Vendor Management, Account Management and Quality Management. Muktesh has been instrumental in developing and running a 200+ member IT captive unit for AXA Group Solutions. Muktesh has extensive experience in setting up ODC’s (Offshore Delivery Centers) for skills like SAP, PeopleSoft, J2EE, .net etc. He has also been part of ISO / CMM / CMMi implementations for over 10 years.
Muktesh Murthy has over 18 years of IT industry experience and has worked in international markets like US, UK, Australia, France, Singapore and Japan. Muktesh has an MBA in Marketing from IGNOU University. He is PMP certified from PMI International and is a trained and certified Auditor for ISO standards like ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 20000, ISO/IEC 27001 and BS25999 from RABQSA Australia.
A T Rohit , Program Manager – Operations
A T Rohit is the Program Manager (Operations) at GLOPORE IMS and takes care of the of business operations across key projects from inception to execution and revenue realization. He coordinates with the various teams to ensure smooth flow of the operations. He joined GLOPORE as a campus hire from IIM Bangalore and brings with him over 5 years of experience in the automotive domain. At Tata Motors where he started his career, he was instrumental in setting up the new world class manufacturing facilities for the Tata ‘World Truck’ (now ‘Prima’). He has experience in process planning, procurement, project management, automation, manufacturing processes and automotive production. He is certified in Robotics and Industrial Automation from ABB and Siemens and has been involved in successful implementation of several turnkey projects at Tata Motors. As a management trainee with Amazon (Operations) in Bangalore he was involved in setting up their pan India operations.
Over the course of his career, he has handled large teams and has been lauded for his managerial skills on the shop floor where he was able to optimize project costs. He has always held a deep interest in technology and its implementation in all fields of business. Rohit holds a B. Tech. in Electronics & Communications from West Bengal University of Technology and a PGDM from IIM Bangalore.
